Agreement Reached with J&J Financial Company

Zunna, Inc. entered into an agreement  with J&J Financial Company effective immediately to market and distribute WATS.

WATS tests investment strategies by running them through historical periods exactly as if you had lived through those periods. WATS runs every historical period, providing an overall success rate for the strategy.

"WATS is awesome software," said Keith Marbach, President of Zunna, Inc. "I have personally gained a good deal of understanding about asset allocation and spending policies by using WATS. One thing that I have discovered that everybody should know is that most of the financial calculators on the major web sites are dangerously optimistic when it comes to spending policies in retirement."

To support his claim, Mr. Marbach points to research done by Jaye C. Jarrett, creator of WATS. "Mr. Jarrett wrote a paper, available at http://jjarrett.home.texas.net/resRCalc/index.htm, that shows how much real world calculations, ala WATS, can differ from the popular web site calculators," said Mr. Marbach.

"In his study," continued Mr. Marbach, "Mr. Jarrett showed a representative investment plan for living in retirement. Using the standard financial calculator, the plan seems reliable and nearly guaranteed for success. Using WATS, however, Mr. Jarrett found that the plan was successful only about half the time. The difference in odds of success, between almost a sure thing and 50/50, is huge. When it comes to my retirement money, I personally am not comfortable with a 50/50 chance for success."

Zunna is currently the only distributor for WATS. The suggested retail price for WATS, with Ibbotson data through 12/2000, is $199 . Discounts are available for researchers and other groups.
